 Coming From the South Padre Island / Port Isabel / Laguna Vista area:

Estimated Time: 37 minutes      Estimated Distance: 26.01 miles
  1. Start on BROWNSVILLE-PORT ISABEL HWY / TX-48 W. Continue to follow TX-48 W.
  2. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto BOCA CHICA BLVD / TX-48 W. (just as you pass a Home depot on right)
  3. Turn RIGHT onto PAREDES LINE RD / FM 1847. (Intersection with Luby's and HEB on left)
  4. End at 124 Paredes Line Rd. (Just one block on your right, across from "The Oyster Bar")
From Harlingen and other points north in the Rio Grande Valley:

Estimated Time: 30 minutes      Estimated Distance: 24.46 miles

  1. Travel south on US-77 S/ US- 83 S.
  2. Take the exit toward TX-48/ BOCA CHICA BLVD.
  3. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto N EXPRESSWAY/ US-77 S/ US-83 S.
  4. Turn LEFT onto BOCA CHICA BLVD/ TX-48. (a Mcdonalds will be ahead on the right)
  5. Turn LEFT onto PAREDES LINE RD/ FM 1847. (there is a liquor store on this left)
  6. End at 124 Paredes Line Rd. (Just one block on your right, across from "The Oyster Bar")
